Bringing to life the inaugural 2010 USSBA Indoor Season

The team responsible for bringing to life the inaugural 2010 USSBA Indoor Season has been busy building the foundation from which the season, and the circuit will eventually be able to grow and flourish in 2010 and beyond.

After the announcement of the 2010 Indoor Championship site being held at the Sovereign Bank Arena outside of Trenton, NJ, the next step in the process is to fill out the remainder of the regular season schedule.  As of August 1, the USSBA has fielded several dozen formal and informal requests to host an event in the inaugural season.  But as a matter of protocol, the USSBA would like to invite any potential hosts to fill out the 2010 Indoor Season Registration form by August 15, 2009 to officially place their schools on the list to serve as a host in 2010.

The USSBA is searching ideally for a school that has hosted a high quality indoor event in the past, thus knowing the ins and outs associated with the winterguard and indoor percussion activity.  Plenty of parking, warm-up space and a high quality gymnasium are a must for the facilities, while a dedicated, veteran booster organization committed to a great customer experience for units, staff and members will allow us to extend the customer service model from the fall marching band season to the winter indoor schedule.
Sean King, director of the USSBA commented on the search for charter hosts of the USSBA Indoor season. “The goal of USSBA Indoor is to provide our member schools with a comparable experience in the winter as they have become accustomed to in the fall.  By providing quality judging, great service and exceptional venues, we will be able to provide fundraising opportunities for our host schools, positive adjudication and critique for staff, and an overall excellent experience from the moment the student or guest enters the event, to the time they leave the venue.  These have become the trademarks of the USSBA and we look forward to finding partners who are dedicated to the same objective of hosting great events for great kids!”
The final financial package is being completed over the next few weeks and will be available for review to those who submit the 2010 Indoor Registration form.  By completing the form, schools and booster groups are not obligated to hosting an event, however will be contacted to further explore their interest in this unique fundraising opportunity.
