Cadets to host The 3 "C" Double Play Season Opener

June 18th: Cadets, Cavies and Crown Three corps, two times!

The Cavaliers are one of three corps performing in the new and unique The 3 "C" Double Play Season Opener. Below, Carolina Crown will also join the Cadets on June 18th.

When the 2010 Cadets host their first drum corps show on June 18th in Allentown, Pa., they will again break ground, this time with a unique format that features performances by three World-Class corps - twice! In between those performances, the creative teams from each corps will share with the audience the background, their concept and offer insight to the amazing programs that unfold on the field.

The Cadets welcome the Cavaliers and Carolina Crown to The 3 “C” Double Play Season Opener at J. Birney Crum Stadium. Adding another first-of-it’s kind twists to the event, each corps will be scored both times they perform. Those scores will be averaged and a winner will be determined.

It’s the perfect opportunity to see the three “C’s” - some of the best in the activity - early in the season, gain understanding of their programs, and then see them in action, AGAIN! Carolina Crown

The format is also an ideal way for corps to gain more performance time in front of an appreciative audience. All three will have spent many weeks in Spring Training and getting a gauge on what works, and what doesn’t, is imperative during these early season events, according to Cadets Director George Hopkins.

The 3 “C” Double Play Season Opener begins at 8:03 p.m. at the legendary J. Birney Crum Stadium in Allentown, Pa. Ticket are now available at the following levels and prices:

$53 – Limited Exclusive VIP seats with In-stadium Parking (only 50 available!)

$33 – Premium Reserved (upper/lower deck)

$23 – Reserved (upper/lower deck)
