USSBA Holds Steady on Fall Registration Fees

Very few increases for second consecutive year

The USSBA is proud to announce that for the second consecutive year, fees to participate in the majority of USSBA events will remain the same with the only increases being attached to a few events where stadium rates are higher for the coming season.

We have worked diligently at our budgeting process and watching costs, yet being sure to maintain the highest level of quality adjudication, access to venues and service from USSBA that has made the USSBA the largest and fastest growing marching band organization in the nation.

The USSBA team has been listening to many of our directors who have asked us to hold our prices constant, and fortunately the fixed costs we’re dealing with have remained similar to the past few years and allow us to keep the fees the same for each of our bands for the fall of 2010.

The State Championships and Northern States Championships fees will remain the same as 2008 and 2009.  The fee for these events will continue to be a hybrid mix of registration fee and required ticket allotment, with the same amount being charged this fall as last for participation in these great events to cap off the 2010 season.

The USSBA is also pleased to announce we will be continuing the 50% discount program for bands who participate in both their State Championship and Northern State Championship events.  As part of this policy, fees and ticket requirements for bands participating in State Championships will be discounted by 50% for bands continuing on to the Northern State Championships.

Registration fees for the National Championships, Yamaha Cup, Marine Corps Invitational in Annapolis, and the all-new DeMoulin Challenges will be a simple flat registration fee, with no ticket requirement associated with participation.  The Southern States Registration will be a registration fee based on the size of each group, but with no ticket requirement.

Registration for all USSBA Texas events will remain the same for the fourth consecutive year, with Regional and Texas State Championships remaining the same for 2010.

The complete list of events and associated fees will be posted on the USSBA website as registrations begin on March 1, 2010 for the coming season.
