See the USSBA at TMEA/NJMEZ

Several days of meetings and greetings planned

The road warriors of the USSBA take to the skies and the roadways in order to meet up with band directors, judges and show staff across the country over the next few weeks,

Beginning with a trip to San Antonio for the annual Texas Music Educators Conference (TMEA) on February 10-13, Sean King and Courtney Beard have several days worth of meetings and presentations scheduled – not to mention the usual amount of time on the trade show floor.  So if you’re in the area, be sure to stop by, say hello and get the scoop on the coming fall marching band season.

Next week, the travelling road show moves north to the Garden State and the New Jersey Music Educator Conference in New Brunswick. For this week, the USSBA will be onsite Thursday through Saturday meeting up with folks and giving them the first look at the all-new 2010 schedule that includes some new events, some returning events and a look at the ever-popular local event schedule with nearly 50 events in 2010.

The NJMEA Conference ends for the USSBA with a very special presentation on programming by our very own George Hopkins.  Click HERE to read more details.

As a wrap-up, we’re always looking to meet with band directors and here what your needs are and how we might be able to improve our service to you. The music educators conferences allow us the opportunity to do so, but if you’d like to schedule a time to meet with any one of our team, just let us know and we’ll be out to visit you – or a group of bands in your area at your convenience.

Keep it in mind as we always look forward to the opportunity to interact with band directors.
