Yamaha helps music educators purchase quality instruments

Euphoniums, tubas available without breaking the budget!

Yamaha has announced lower prices on many of its most popular instruments to assist music educators needing to replace or add to their band’s inventory.

Starting immediately, the most popular Yamaha euphoniums and tuba: the YEP-201 three-valve lacquer Euphonium, YEP-321 four-valve lacquer Euphonium, YEP-321S four-valve silver-plated Euphonium, and the YBB-105WC 3/4 size top action, three-valve lacquer Tuba, are all receiving new, lower price points.

The last few years have been a time of sacrifice for many across the country due to the nation’s tough economic situation.  Music educators operating on a restricted budget have had to choose between quality and affordability in instruments for their students.  As the world’s leading manufacturer of musical instruments, Yamaha has decided to take a bold step in helping children play on the best possible instruments regardless of the economic climate.

“These instruments are some of the most popular low brass instruments in schools nationwide.  They’re teacher tried and tested, with a reputation for quality and durability,” said Roger Eaton, Director of Marketing, and Yamaha Band & Orchestral Division. “Now educators who have favored Yamaha instruments for years no longer have to settle for a lesser instrument because of their tighter budget.”

The YEP-201 and YEP-321 offer laser-fused pluzuma welded bells, pressure formed tubing, and honed valves for easy, reliable, and enjoyable playing.  The YBB-105WC 3/4 size tuba is the perfect size for comfortable playing by younger students, and comes with a BBC-27 case for easy carrying.  The .661” bore offers an ideal balance between easy response and a rich, solid tone.  With hand-lapped pistons and sides, the YBB-105 brings a smooth action and accessible playing experience to students.
