USSBA Indoor, Norristown HS celebrate second show success

Great performances plus after-show clinics create good vibe

Norristown High School Percussion takes the floor to perform on Saturday.

The US Scholastic Band Association Indoor team took the guard, dance and percussion action to Norristown, Pa., last weekend, not only bringing smiles to hundreds of faces, but also offering quality instruction at the student level during informative and impromptu, after-show clinics.

More than a dozen groups performed during the USSBA Indoor’s second event of the circuit’s inaugural season. And while entertainment, spinning, drumming and dancing  was the order of the day, the USSBA also committed itself to making the event a learning experience as the percussion groups benefitted from after show critiques led by several on the adjudicating staff.
