PIRT presents the percussion judge trifecta

Judging, design and other percussion topics on agenda

Ever want to sit down and speak with a percussion judge away from the competitive environment? Try to find out what they are thinking as they are watching a show? Ask them how do they do it?

On March 23, the Percussion Instructor RoundTable presents the "Percussion Judge Trifecta." PIRT is proud to announce that Marty Griffin, Joe Itkor and Jim Mallen have agreed to be part of this special event. In addition to being music educators and designers along with a ton of other great talents and experience, they are some of the key players in US Scholastic Band Association marching band and indoor percussion judging. It will be great to have them at the RoundTable, in a relaxed environment, to talk about everything from judging to design to teaching to anything else under the percussive sun.

The March 23 meeting will be held at Immaculata High School in Somerville, N.J., and will start at 7 p.m. Please RSVP to Dan Bonham at dan@ihsband.org if youd like to attend.

Immaculata High School is located at 240 Mountain Ave., Somerville, N.J., 08876.
