Hopkins Disconnect Final Tally

Cadets exceed $10k goal in mini-campaign

Gregory Pych presented a check in the amount of $10,000 to The Cadets on Tuesday evening, April 6, at the VFW in Garfield New Jersey a crowd of alumni and friends of the drum corps.

As of Monday, April 5, the “Hopkins Disconnected” campaign raised a total of $11,044 in direct contributions for The 2010 Cadets!

That brings the grand total for The Cadets to $21,044 — including this very generous matching gift from Cadet alum, Greg Pych!

Hopkins stated “Being off line for a few days was interesting. Actually, I see that there are many mass e-mails I get that slow me down. I can make adjustments to move life along faster. As for a vacation, it was good to watch the Phils, not check a phone, sleep on the beach and read a book. Did I think about YEA? Oh YES!!! Did I relax a little? Maybe. Thanks, Gregory, for your generous donation and for providing me a push—as always it was a pleasure.”

And thank you again to each and every donor who made this matching gift possible for The Cadets!
