Cadets LEADERSHIP EXPERIENCE CAMP this Saturday

Band students: Gain the skills, tools you need with The Cadets

High school student leaders can learn the tools they need to lead their bands this fall at Saturday’s Cadets Leadership Experience. Held in conjunction with The Cadets' May Rehearsal Camp in Woodstown, N.J., the clinic is designed to help students become successful leaders. The program will be led student leadership expert Scott Lang. Read more on Scott Lang.

Participants in this special event will have the opportunity to work with Cadets Drum Major Ben Pouncey, meet and talk with the section leaders of The Cadets, and see the corps in rehearsal. The curriculum will include basic conducting and student leadership essentials.

“Don't miss this opportunity to make your 2010 student leadership team the best ever,” said Justin Heimbecker, Assistant Director of the Cadets. “Scott's innovative approach to the leader-training process, combined with an extraordinary workshop with The Cadets, promises to make an immediate and lasting impact on your student leaders. They will be challenged to put their words into action and prove their leadership worth. This is the perfect way to prepare your student leaders for success while allowing them the opportunity to see The Cadets in action!”

The cost for this one day event is $40. Group rates of 10 or more are $35. The day runs from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and lunch is included in the registration fee.
