USSBA releases 2010 fall event line-ups

Record number of registrants thru mid-June

With great anticipation, the US Scholastic Band Association is excited to release the line-ups for many of the most popular events on the 2010 fall marching band schedule.

“Since we began the registration process back in March, we have been averaging more sign-ups per week than ever before in the history of the USSBA,” said Director Sean King. “Many of our most popular events are at, or near capacity, including the National Championships, Desmoulins Challenge East, Marine Corps Invitational, a select number of local events and a few of the Northern States dates.”

To view the events your band is registered to participate in, click on any event whose link is “live” and you’ll see an entire listing of the bands enrolled in that event as of mid-June.  The website is updated daily with bands as registrations are received and processed.

If a link is not live for a particular event in which you are interested, please check back at your convenience as their status is currently “In-progress.”  This status could be for a variety of reasons, including host option, USSBA discretion or other determinations and can be changed at either party’s recommendation pending the event has met all obligations necessary as an active event.

“We anticipate registrations to continue to be strong through the Sept. 11 season kick-off date and beyond, and we welcome groups from throughout the nation to become part of the largest and fastest growing marching band organization in the nation,” said King.
