DeMoulin and USSBA join for special promotion

Register for select events and win DCI show tickets

In celebration of the upcoming visit by The Cadets and the Drum Corps International tour to Murfreesboro, Tenn., and Atlanta, Ga., later this month, DeMoulin Brothers & Co. and the US Scholastic Band Association are joining together to present two complimentary tickets to any band director who registers for select upcoming USSBA fall marching band competitions in the region before July 23.

“As we begin laying the groundwork of a long-term relationship between our two organizations, we have a unique opportunity to leverage our partnerships for the benefit of all involved,” said Sean King, Director of the USSBA, in announcing the limited time promotion.  “The two DCI dates in the Southeast provide band directors in the area to see The Cadets and the other top DCI corps at their late season best, while we have the opportunity to host an extra special experience for the USSBA directors at these events.”

As for the details of the promotion, band directors who register before Friday, July 23 for either of the USSBA events being held this fall at Finley Stadium on the campus of the University of Tennessee-Chattanooga will automatically receive two free tickets to their choice of the upcoming DCI Masters of the Summer Music Games at Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro, Tenn., on Friday, July 30 or the DCI Southeastern Regional Championship at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta, Ga.

Additionally, all band directors who receive the free tickets will receive a special gift bag from the Cadets at either the Murfreesboro or Atlanta event.

The DeMoulin Challenge is the first event to be held at the University of Tennessee-Chattanooga on Oct. 2 where 30 bands will be performing in a first-of-its-kind USSBA prelim/finals format.  Great end-of-season competition returns to Finley Stadium for the 5th annual USSBA Southern States Championships to be held on Nov. 6, bringing together more than 30 bands of all sizes and performance abilities for competition in 12 classes.
