USSBA ships Band Director Resource Guide

Binder helps you keep vital information close

Back for a second season, the US Scholastic Band Association Band Director Resource Guide returns as the USSBA team improves its dedication to Customer Experience.

“We had band directors first and foremost on our minds when we originally created an organizational system for directors to keep all of their vital information such as rules, policies, schedules, invoices, statements and other such materials all organized in one central location,” said Sean King, Director of the USSBA.

“The first time we saw a band director walking across the parking lot at Giants Stadium with the binder under his arm, we knew we had succeeded in reaching our goal!”

After many meetings, discussions and paper cuts, the second edition of the USSBA Band Director Resource Guide ships this week to all active and Member Bands for the 2010-2011 school year.

Included in the Resource Guide are full descriptions of the registration and ticket requirement policy for the State Championship and Northern State Championship. A brief overview of the USSBA National Championships is included along with the all-important protocol for selecting the seeding for each of these three Championship events.

Additionally, we have included an easy to read format of the USSBA Rule Book for 2010.

In the future, we will be sending all vital information and details already three hole punched so you, your assistant, a student intern or even music program secretary can simply drop the information into the binder, and always have it at arms-length away from you when organizing or making decisions regarding your program’s involvement with the USSBA.

An added bonus includes details from many of our corporate partners to share their latest information with each of you.  With their help, we were able to enlist their support to provide news about new products and topics that they normally wouldn’t have the opportunity to share with directors.

We hope you enjoy this additional step as we try to make the organizing of your 2010-2011 School Year with the USSBA even more streamlined.
