Post meeting Webinar on Sept. 19 will delve into 2011 program

On Sunday, Sept. 19 in Philadelphia, Pa., The Cadets Design Team will be gathering for a day of conversation and planning. 

On the agenda:  The 2011 show!  

“I expect that when we leave the meeting Sunday night, we will have a direction and even a framework for 2011,” said George Hopkins, Cadets Director and Program Coordinator. “How things usually work … folks bring in ideas and concepts, we listen, we talk, we sketch, and ideas take hold. At this juncture, I believe we have five or so different concepts prepared to discuss. We could have as many as 10 different ideas before we settle in.” 

In an attempt to bring you close to the action, The Cadets Design Team will present a Webinar at 5 p.m., direct from the hotel meeting room in Philadelphia.  

Hear from Brass Arranger Jay Bocook, Percussion Caption Supervisor and Battery Arranger Colin McNutt, Drill Designer Jeff Sacktig, Program Associate Bruno Zuccala, Designer Greg Lagola and Director and Program Coordinator George Hopkins as they review the day’s events, some of the ideas, and perhaps even share some musical direction for the coming season.
