Meet The Cadets face-to-face at key locations

Let us help you with your pre-audition concerns

Look for The Cadets display table at select upcoming events to meet and talk with veterans and corps' administrators about auditioning Nov. 19-21 in Reading, Pa.

There are several opportunities to meet with Cadets face to face in the weeks prior to Audition Camp on Nov. 19-21.

Applicants for brass and percussion musicians and colorguard performers who are weighing the possibility of auditioning  for the 2011 corps, but still have lingering doubt can have all their questions answered, in person, by a corps’ veteran or administrator in the coming days and weeks at one of the following locations:

  • USSBA Northern States Championships in Allentown, Pa. on Oct. 30-31
  • USSBA National Championships in Annapolis, Md., on Nov. 5-7
  • PASIC Convention in Indianapolis, Ind., on  Nov. 11-13
  • BOA Grand Nationals in Indianapolis, Ind., on Nov.  11-13

“We know making this decision to audition for The Cadets is a big one for most everyone,” said Assistant Director Justin Heimbecker. “But there are usually no obstacles that cannot be overcome. A lot of times, just talking to someone who has the answers, or has been in that situation of auditioning for a drum corps for the first time, really can help alleviate concerns and fears.”

Auditions for the 2011 Cadets will be held Nov. 19-21 at Reading High School in Reading, Pa. Frequently asked questions and more details are available on the Web site by CLICKING HERE. But feel free to drop by The Cadets’ display table at any of these events to talk about the life-changing experience that awaits you!

Heimbecker can also be reached at justin@yea.org, or by telephone at (610) 821-0345, Ext. 112.
