Cadets heading west this summer

2011 tour details revealed as auditions approach

Ready for an evening in San Francisco, a trip to the Pike Fish Market in Seattle, or some beach time at Huntington Beach?

Well, get to the Cadets! And quick!

In a pre- DCI announcement, George Hopkins, director of the Cadets said “We are thrilled to be able to bring The Cadets to Northern California and the Great Northwest! I am not sure the corps has ever been to Seattle, and being able to see our friends the Blue Devils and the Vanguard early on makes the trip all the more exciting.

Exact Details still need to come from Drum Corps International but the Cadets will be West of the Rockies from mid June until July 9 performing as many as five times per week during this grand trip to the “other coast.”

Heading west means The Cadets first East Coast appearance will not be until the weekend of DCI East when the Cadets will be in West Chester, North Jersey and Allentown. Also to be announced, a grand send off weekend June 10-12 that will include a picnic, performances and a chance to meet the 2011 Cadets.

The Cadets ONE AND ONLY Audition Camp is over the weekend of Nov 19-21 at Reading High School in Reading, Pa. Interested brass and percussion musicians and colorguard performers should register by CLICKING HERE.
