Cadets percussionists head out for PASIC clinic tonight!

Meet the members, staff and talk about becoming a CADET

Tonight, 30 front ensemble and battery percussionists from the 2010 Cadets will gather for a clinic/exhibition at the Percussive Arts Society International Convention in Indianapolis, Ind., from Nov. 10-13. The bus and truck loaded with Cadets and their new Yamaha Percussion Equipment departs for Indy Tuesday.

The ensemble will be featured in a one-hour clinic on Thursday, Nov. 11 at noon. Hosted by Front Ensemble Supervisor and Arranger Iain Moyer and Percussion Caption Supervisor Colin McNutt, the clinic is designed for both performers and educators, and will provide an opportunity for participants to learn the philosophies and approaches that help The Cadets reach the highest levels of performance each and every summer.

The corps members will indeed be wearing the traditional maroon & gold West Point style uniform, which will be an especially unique opportunity for 14 age-outs who will wear the uniform one final time.
