Congratulations to the Group I & II National Champions

USSBA National Championships continue Saturday-Sunday

 With the spectacular Chesapeake Bay just on the horizon, Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium in Annapolis, Md., lit up with color, pageantry and music Friday as more than 30 bands competed in the Fifth Annual US Scholastic Band Association National Championship.

Groups I and II stepped off the line during the first of three days of marching action that runs Friday through Sunday.

Williamstown High School - Group II

Perkiomen Valley High School – Group I

Two more days of marching action still remain in Annapolis! Tomorrow, 31 bands in Groups IV and V take the field in their final performance of the season. On Sunday, the same number of groups will perform as part of the Groups III and VI competition.

Saturday action in Tennessee and California, too!

The team also heads to Chattanooga, Tenn., on Saturday as 19 bands vie for the USSBA Southern States Championship title. Finley Stadium on the campus of University of Tennessee at Chattanooga plays host to groups from Tennessee, Virginia, Kentucky, Alabama, Georgia and Mississippi!

The USSBA and its good friend and sponsor the US Marine Corps come together for a show on the other coast! The Marine Corps Invitational West brings 16 bands together in Woodland Hills, Calif., for the title event.

On Sunday, the USSBA will finish out the Northern States Championship series as the third and final day of competition takes place at J. Birney Crum Stadium in Allentown, Pa.
