The 2011 schedule comes after a successful inaugural Indoor season that welcomed nearly 60 scholastic performing groups in to the fold.

“Trying something new in 2010, we learned plenty along the way,” said Sean King, Director of the USSBA. “As we dive into the 2011 Indoor season, we are excited to welcome two new education directors into the family – Eric Kitchenman, Director of Education for Colorguard, and Rich Hammond, Director of Education for Percussion. We look forward to the ideas and philosophies they bring with them.”

USSBA Indoor launches its second season based on the sound foundation developed during more than 20 years of providing fall marching events for students.

“Our events should be a place where groups grow and flourish,” King said. “Students should be able to perform in a penalty-free environment where professional adjudication is at the highest quality and never partial. Just as in the fall season, every experience a student has during a USSBA event should be a positive one.”
