Thank you from the USSBA team for a fabulous fall

You make our mission so much easier to achieve!

From the heat of band camp to the chill of the autumn air, the young people we saw during the past nine weeks on performance fields in 14 states rehearsed hundreds of hours to make memories they will take with them for the rest of their lives.

At the close of the 2010 US Scholastic Band Association fall marching season, we are extremely proud to have had a hand in celebrating their hard work and achievements! Every note played, step marched and flag, rifle or saber tossed was pure joy to witness, and seeing every smile – on and off the field – is why the USSBA team exists.

The USSBA's mission as a non-profit musical youth organization is to help to support the educators who work daily with young people to teach the life skills of dedication, perseverance and commitment to excellence through music. It is these skills that will stay with each young person for years to come and when combined with the friendships forged during these years, will create a foundation from which a magnificent life can be lived.

To every student performer, music educator, parent, adjudicator, volunteer and fan…

Thank you for being a part of the USSBA and a part of the marching band activity. The work we do here is so much more than just the 10 minutes of music and marching, but rather a showcase of all that is possible when young people, music, hard work and creativity come together.

We look forward to even greater possibilities in 2011!
