Auditions for the 2011 Cadets are this weekend in Reading, Pa.

PLEASE NOTE THE NEW TIME FOR THE COLIN MCNUTT WEBINAR!
The webinar begins at 6:30 p.m., Eastern Standard Time

Preparing themselves for the upcoming Cadets Audition Weekend, more than 50 brass musicians joined Brass Caption Supervisor Gino Cipriani Tuesday night to discover more about the try-out process, expectations, music and more!

Gino’s webinar is one of four being held this week by The Cadets as audition weekend approaches on Friday. Tonight, the forum opens up for percussion applicants as Percussion Caption Supervisor and battery arranger Colin McNutt opens the floor for battery and front ensemble applicants.

Colin’s webinar begins at 6:30 p.m., Eastern Standard Time. Please note this is a new time!

“This webinar series has been fantastic,” said Cadets Assistant Director Justin Heimbecker. “It’s allowed applicants with lingering questions to opportunity to ask them before they arrive for auditions, when the nerves and anticipation level are sometimes on the high side. Last night was the first of our section Webinars hosted by a caption supervisor and Gino did a great job of easing concerns of brass applicants and letting them know what to expect this weekend.”
