Cadets dedicate Hall of Honored Veterans plaque

Names of inaugural class of 13 alumni engraved in time

Cadets Director George Hopkins, and Bill Speakman, COO of Youth Education in the Arts, present the new Cadets Hall of Veterans plaque to be displayed in the corps' office.

A plaque honoring alumni named to the Cadets Hall of Honored Veterans now hangs on the wall at the corps’ office in Allentown, Pa.

The names of 13 Cadets who served in the US Armed Forces adorn the plaque, all of whom were inducted as the 2010 inaugural class this summer.  For years to come, alumni who served their country will be selected and honored by the corps during the drum corps season.

The Hall of Honored Veterans award will hang in the front lobby, alongside the Cadets Hall of Fame perpetual plaque begun in 1984.
