CADETS TRUCK DRIVER

The Cadets’ convoy will include two 48’ semi-trailers on their 17,000 mile journey in 2011, carrying all food and equipment supplies. We are fortunate and grateful to have several volunteer drivers with Class A CDL certification, but we are always looking for more qualified assistance to get the corps down the road safely and efficiently.

If you are able to commit to two weeks, three weeks, or even the whole summer, we would love to hear from you! We will coordinate travel and provide meals during your time on the road; and, for the right experience and commitment; there is the possibility of a small stipend for your time and services.

However, this position is available specifically for someone looking to spend some quality time around some of the most fabulous people in the world – The Cadets!

Timeframe: June 8 – Aug. 15
Availability: two tractors

CADETS SMALL VEHICLE DRIVER

The Cadets’ convoy will include three RVs, two box trucks, and 1 passenger van in 2011. Each of these vehicles will have trailers attached, from scaffolding, to golf carts, to equipment, to satellite vehicles. We are looking for assistance to get the convoy down the road safely and efficiently, as we travel from city to city through the night.

If you’d like to sign up for one week, two weeks, or even more, let us know!

Timeframe: June 8 – Aug. 15
Availability: Six drivers per night

CADETS UNIFORM MANAGER

The Cadets are looking for qualified, experienced assistance in fitting and maintaining the Maroon and Gold uniform in 2011. Beginning in January, we are looking for assistance with measurements during the winter camps. At the end of May, during Spring Training, we’ll be fitting the corps with their very own threads. We are also looking for assistance throughout the summer, as adjustments and maintenance is required for The Cadets to look excellent at each and every show, regardless of how much weight they’ve lost!

CADETS FOODSERVICE VOLUNTEER

To provide four meals per day to 200+ individuals, The Cadets will need approximately eight individuals for each day of Spring Training and tour. Are you a parent, alumnus, friend, or fan? We’d love to have you on board! No experience is necessary, as there is a role for everyone: whether it’s mixing the drink coolers, taking out the garbage, washing dishes, or slicing and dicing. Many hands make for light work!

Feel free to sign up for a week, a month, or more!

Timeframe: May 13 – Aug. 14
Availability: Eight positions available

CADETS MEDICAL STAFF

The Cadets have been fortunate to gather a team of fantastic medical staff with various backgrounds over the past few years. That said, we are always looking to add experience and talent to our team. Are you a student looking for an athletic training (or similar) internship? Have you graduated and you’re looking for some summer experience in a demanding, rewarding setting? We may have just the situation for you!

Timeframe: May 14 - Aug. 15
