Fall event Early Bird registration ends Jan. 7

Guarantee your show date and save at the same time!

The New Year is upon us and the US Scholastic Band Association isn’t falling short in celebrating as they ring in 2011! While it seems far off, the outdoor season sits nine months out, but now is the ideal time for your band to commit to hosting a fall event as the Early Bird discount closes out the first week of January.

The USSBA band hosts the 2010 fee for their Silver or Gold event for 2011 when paid in full by 5 p.m. on Jan. 7, 2011.  Of note to New Jersey hosts, this does not include the $500 discount for the three judge panel in New Jersey, as the evaluation is still ongoing as to whether or not three or four judge panels will be engaged for 2011.  

As in previous years, payment in full for the entire amount of your event will be due to take advantage of the Early Bird discount.  However, payment in full by Jan. 7 at 5 p.m. can guarantee all hosts, whether new or returning, savings over the 2011 regular fees. 

For those hosts who will not be taking advantage of the Early Bird discount, there remains a deposit requirement to hold your date and have the event be posted on our website.  The deposit amount continues to be $750 and needed by Feb. 1, 2011 to confirm your entry. Hosts that have not submitted their $750 deposit by Feb. 1 will not be listed on the initial schedule, according to a new policy of the USSBA.
