Beat the Winter Blahs! Pennsauken on 2/12 will be a "Day at the Beach"

Registration is free to all groups for our Indoor season opener

The winter blahs have gotten to us all.  So with a sense of optimism, and a tongue firmly placed in cheek, the US Scholastic Band Association announces “A Day at the Beach” theme for  the kick-off event of the Indoor season to be held at Pennsauken High School in Pennsauken, N.J., at 4 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 12.

[object Object]Eric Kitchenman, colorguard education director says, “We’ve put together a great panel to evaluate programs in their early season form.  No program should worry about incomplete programs or ‘works in progress,’ we simply want to see the performers have a great time and give staff some accurate and helpful feedback.”

“Pennsauken will be a great chance for us to take the wraps off of our new percussion sheets, designed exclusively for the USSBA to focus on today’s percussion performer, no matter the level of skill or achievement,” said  Rich Hammond, percussion education director. “If you compete in another circuit and have an open date, or are just looking for a great place to get some super feedback, Pennsauken is the place to be.”

Nick DeNofa and the friends at Pennsauken hosted the first USSBA Indoor event ever in 2010 and are looking for an even better experience in 2011.

Registration is free and open to all units for the first show of the season.  You can simply register by CLICKING HERE or by calling (610) 821-0345, Ext. 119.

Nick and the USSBA team will be preparing gift packs for all participating units to help them enjoy their next trip to the beach, whenever that might be.
