Quality dates remain on the USSBA fall schedule

Host an event at your school as a fantastic fundraiser

Fill your high school stadium with marching fans by hosting a USSBA fall event.

The US Scholastic Band Association’s 23rd fall marching band season kicks off in just seven months. It may seem far off, but before you know it, band camp will be wrapping up and the first performances of the season will be here!

When that time comes, make sure your band is one of the many USSBA show hosts welcoming groups to your school for a wonderful day of music and pageantry. Not only does hosting an event at your school promote marching music in your community, it’s also a wonderful fundraiser for your program!

Quality dates remain on the USSBA 2011 schedule for potential show hosts.

“We still have very good dates open on the schedule,” said Tara Lee Bryant, local show host relations representative for the USSBA. “If you are still considering hosting, you need to move on scheduling your band’s event quickly because some of these select dates on the calendar won’t last. Every day I receive multiple inquiries about show dates and they won’t be open indefinitely.”

The 2011 season begins the weekend of Sept. 12, running 10 weeks until Nov. 13. The USSBA will unveil the fall schedule in the coming weeks.
