Pump Up Your Line Grand Prize Winners Announced

Congrats to all who entered the first ever contest

The US Scholastic Band Association is excited to announce the Grand Prize winner of the Pump Up My Line Contest as well as the First and Second Place winners all who kicked-off the 2011 Zildjian Indoor Percussion Series Presented by the USSBA. 

Jason Majerczak from Upper Darby won the Grand Prize Package that includes one set of Zildjian marching cymbals, a full set of Remo battery drumheads and a full set of Vic Firth Drumsticks and Mallets. 

Nathan Fullmer from Norristown won the First Prize Package including a full set of Remo drumheads for the battery. 

Jack Myatt from Sayreville won the Second Prize Package including a full set of Vic Firth Drumsticks and Mallets.

Weekly Winner #1 was Chris Thatcher from the Old Bridge High School Indoor Percussion Ensemble who received his Zildjian t-shirt and will be receiving a pair of Vic Firth M186 Multi application Keyboard mallets.  

Weekly Winner #2 was Zane Ruth from the Dallastown Middle School Drumline who will be receiving a Zildjian t-shirt and a pair of Vic Firth Ralph Hardimon "Hammer" sticks.

Weekly Winner #3 was Michael Blancaflor from Cheshire Winter Percussion who will be receiving a Zildjian t-shirt and a pair of Vic Firth M231 and Andrew Markworth Marimba Medium mallets.

The USSBA thanks their corporate partners Zildjian, Remo and Vic Firth for the First Annual Pump Up My Line Contest. 

Percussion instructors with active units are also encouraged to register their unit to perform in a USSBA event this spring as a few performance opportunities still remain, including the USSBA Indoor Championships at Sun National Bank Arena in Trenton, NJ on Saturday, April 16.
