The Cadets are filling in the blanks for summer volunteers

Small vehicle drivers, food service help needed

The Cadets are looking to fill in volunteer blanks for food service and small vehicle drivers. Can you help?

Are you looking for the ideal summer job that allows you to enjoy drum corps, too! Or do you have a few weeks or days to spend on the road helping fantastic young people reach their potential?

The Cadets might just have the summer opportunity for you! Or at least a way to spend a few days of your summer vacation!

Food service volunteers and small vehicle drivers are needed for Summer Tour. Take a look at the job descriptions below and let the corps administration know if and when you can help out!

The Cadets’ convoy will include three RVs, two box trucks, and 1 passenger van in 2011. Each of these vehicles will have trailers attached, from scaffolding, to golf carts, to equipment, to satellite vehicles. We are looking for assistance to get the convoy down the road safely and efficiently, as we travel from city to city through the night.

If you’d like to sign up for one week, two weeks, or even more, let us know!

To provide four meals per day to 200+ individuals, The Cadets will need approximately eight individuals for each day of Spring Training and Summer Tour. Are you a parent, alumnus, friend, or fan? We’d love to have you on board! No experience is necessary, as there is a role for everyone: whether it’s mixing the drink coolers, taking out the garbage, washing dishes, or slicing and dicing. Many hands make for light work!

Feel free to sign up for a week, a month, or more!

Interested? Send your letter of interest to Justin Heimbecker, assistant director of The Cadets, at, or by telephone at (610) 821-0345, Ext. 112, or Melissa Barlow at, or (610) 821-0345, Ext. 115.
