Erben marched in the corps in 1978 and was involved with the corps administratively from 1980 to 2010. Susan spoke frequently of her wish to have a fund created for the support of members who needed assistance and although the fund was not created in her lifetime, The Cadets launched the fund in 2010 in her memory. “Susan was committed to helping Cadets find ways to afford their summer tour fees which hampers so many talented performers from participating,” said Cadets Director George Hopkins. “This scholarship fund is just a small step the right direction to making the dream of being a Cadet happen for young men and women. We know she would be pleased these seven dedicated Cadets had a little help this season.” Support the Cadets Scholarship Fund Help other deserving Cadets realize their dreams!
