YEA! wins $200,000 grant through Chase Community Giving

Fourth place finish in the 'Chase' will benefit non-profit music programs

Youth Education in the Arts was the fourth place winner in the Chase Community Giving campaign, winning a $200,000 grant to help fund its youth programs. 

YEA! was the only Lehigh Valley organization in Round Two of the Chase, and only one of two charities in  chase new thank youthe running in Pennsylvania. Round Two of the online charitable giving program ran from May 19-25 with each organization rallying for votes through the Chase Facebook application. YEA! received a total of 18,594 votes. The winner, ieladeinu, Chabad of Argentina Relief Appeal, Inc., of New York, N.Y., received 27,514 votes.

YEA! was one of five activity-related and partner organizations to participate in the spring 2011 Chase campaign.

Drum Corps International took 10th with 11,145 votes
The Blue Devils took 16th with 7,847 votes
The Glassmen took 17th with 6,540 votes
Santa Clara Vanguard took 24th with 5,351 votes
