First-ever CMBC|USSBA Reunion Aug. 7 at New Meadowlands Stadium

Reconnect with friends, support music education for the next generation

For 23 years, the Cadets Marching Band Cooperative (CMBC) and now the US Scholastic Band Association (USSBA) has given hundreds of thousands of band members memories to last them a lifetime, while making friends and performing in stadiums like Giants Stadium and at high schools and colleges around the country. band 2.jpg

So many have such great memories of long bus rides with friends, freezing cold competitions and seeing themselves on the Jumbotron for the very first time!

Now, we want to give you another chance to relive those memories and make some new ones with those you spent so much time with by inviting you and your fellow band alumni to the first-ever CMBC|USSBA Reunion at New Meadowlands Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J., on Sunday, Aug. 7.

Gather with friends in the parking lot and tailgate as you meet-up with friends from your marching days, then join the excitement inside the stadium as we hold a Rally for Music Education where we will acknowledge current and past members of marching bands from throughout the CMBC and USSBA as well as DRUM UP excitement for music in our schools.

Finally, you and your fellow band mates will be treated to the performance of a lifetime by the top drum corps in the world as the DCI Tour of Champions Grand Finale showcases The Cadets, Blue Devils, Phantom Regiment, Santa Clara Vanguard, Carolina Crown, Bluecoats and the Blue Stars.

Admission to the CMBC|USSBA Reunion at New Meadowland Stadium is $24, and includes a ticket to the DCI Tour of Champions Grand Finale.  Plus, by purchasing tickets in advance, $4 of your admission will be credited automatically back to your high school’s music program when you type “YOUR SCHOOL NAME ALUMNI” in the comment box at the check-out.

Group tickets are also available for interested bands.

Simply e-mail Sean King at sking@yea.org to register your alumni to be part of this first-ever event and watch for further details at the USSBA website at usbands.org and our USSBA Facebook page.
