Yamaha, Music & Arts Partner with YEA! and The Cadets

Team Promotes Aug. 7 Tour of Champions Event

ALLENTOWN, PA. — Yamaha Corporation of America, Band and Orchestral Division and music store chain Music & Arts have joined with Youth Education in the Arts (YEA!) and The Cadets to promote the Aug. 7 New Meadowlands Stadium Tour of Champions Grand Finale.

“We are extremely privileged to host one of the premiere events of the summer at the magnificent New Meadowlands Stadium featuring eight of the top marching music ensembles in the world just a few days before the World Championships,” said Sean King, director of marketing & communications for YEA!, announcing the partnership. “This specific event in this setting with these performers provides an opportunity for our friends at Yamaha and Music & Arts to deliver an experience unlike any other for their customers and special invited guests.”

As part of the month-long campaign, Music & Arts locations in the Mid-Atlantic and New England regions will be promoting the events throughout July with in-store displays, special discount coupons as well as a variety of website and Facebook offers.

Roger Eaton, director of marketing for Yamaha, said about the Aug. 7 experiential partnership, “Music & Arts and YEA! are both very important partners and friends with Yamaha and this event provides us with an opportunity to activate our relationship on a new and deeper level with both organizations.  We are thrilled to be part of this event and are looking forward to great performances by each of the groups, especially those Yamaha artists who will be taking the field.”

Featured in the Grand Finale competition in the six-event nationwide Tour of Champions Series will be the Cadets formerly of Garfield, Bergen County, NJ, the Blue Devils of Concord, CA, The Cavaliers of Rosemont, IL, Bluecoats of Canton, OH, Carolina Crown of Fort Mill, SC, Santa Clara Vanguard of Santa Clara, CA, Phantom Regiment of Rockford, IL and Blue Stars of LaCrosse, WI.

 Tickets for the DCI Tour of Champions Grand Finale at New Meadowlands Stadium are $125 for VIP, $75 for Super Premium, $49 for Premium and $29 for Reserved and are available at www.yea.org/tickets.
