IMAG0707.jpgYesterday, The Cadets rehearsed at the New Meadowlands Stadium in New Jersey (home of the New York Giants and New York Jets). Rehearsal ended early at 3:30 in order to leave enough time to travel to Allentown, Pa. for the last regional of the year.

The rain didn’t stop The Cadets in Allentown last night – on the contrary, the rain stopped for The Cadets. The steady drizzle practically turned into a downpour as the corps stood at the gate; we rolled the podium and front ensemble onto the field, and then it was drizzling, and then it stopped. The angels walked onto the field.

The Cadets did a great performance on their home turf, and the home crowd loved it. As they marched off the field, it began to drizzle again.

The judges put them just five hundredths of a point below the Blue Devils.

The corps is rehearsing at the New Meadowlands again today to prepare for the Tour of Champions Grand Finale show tonight. It’s a big night! The top eight will face each other one more time before Quarterfinals on Thursday with finales and a mass encore. This is one of the most important and entertaining shows of the year – come support your Cadets one more time before finals!
