Quiet, quirky and inspirational 2011 "Angels and Demons" DVD released

First copies on their way to fans and members

Whether you were in the corps, on staff, a volunteer or a fan, The 2011 Cadets’ tour DVD, "Between Angels and Demons," captures the corps’ arduous, emotional and fun journey to its 10th world championship.

Video producers Adam Adorno and Alex Giddings spent the entire summer on fields, in parking lots, and at the food truck, and they very simply captured the personality and daily life of The 2011 Cadets.

The footage begins with the cold, rainy days at spring training and goes through the windy first shows in Texas and the redundant rehearsal days against the breathtaking, mountainous backdrop of the Pacific Northwest. Long, hot days in the South, the Northeast and the Midwest finally bring The Cadets to championship week in Indiana.

The DVD portrays the artistry of The Cadets in a refreshingly simple way; it’s clean, often quiet, quirky and inspiring. See the summer from the members’ perspective, and watch a bunch of high school and college kids transform into a unified corps of champions.

The cameras captured George Hopkins’ motivational words before shows, stormed onto the field with the demons, and glided out with the angels. You get to relive the emotional speeches and funny antics of finals day morning and watch the Lucas Oil audience stand and cheer for the last minute of The Cadets’ run-through on finals night. There are no words to adequately describe the tears in the eyes of a motionless Cadet corps when they received the 2011 DCI World Championship title.

This DVD is a great way to remember a great year and is available now for the special low introductory price of $29. The "Angels and Demons" DVD is the perfect addition to any Cadets or drum corps video collection. Order your copy today and relive the 2011 summer for weeks, months and years to come.
