Cadets2 Facebook Groups for Brass and Percussion Up and Running

Connect with Staff and Fellow Members Before Dec. Camp

Following the lead of their percussion brethren, the brass section of Cadets2 has recently announced the creation of Facebook Groups for members and staff to stay in touch before and after camps, as well as capitalize on the positive momentum coming out of the first camp and going into the Dec. 17-18 camp.

Cadets2 Corps Director Eric Kitchenman said, “We’ve seen how much success The Cadets have using tools like Facebook Groups in communicating important and timely information, we want to make sure we at Cadets2 capitalize on it as well. The Cadets have been particularly successful in connecting future members with veterans to make the process a lot more inviting and friendly. In our situation, without any veteran leadership, we’re just trying to continue to make connections between anyone and everyone interested in Cadets2. We still have a long way to go to fill the corps and we take every opportunity we can to tell our story, and the students and staff have taken it upon themselves to spread the word via Facebook to make the December camp all it can be.”

Brass members and prospective members can join the “Hornline” group or their particular section for “Trumpets” or “Mellos.”

Percussion members and prospective members are encouraged to join the “Cadets2 2012 Percussion” group.
If you would like to attend the December 17-18 camp, you can register here.
