The Cadets Second January Camp This Weekend

Work Continues on "12.25" Program

Phone lines have been lit up and email messages flying back and forth between members of The Cadets design team as programming kicks into high gear with the second January camp for the Cadets.

Corps' Director George Hopkins said, “Jay Bocook is working his magic on the brass arrangements for ‘Hark the Herald Angels’ this camp. We made some changes to the show so we are a bit disorganized but, come February, we will be piecing things back together. Percussion-wise, we are completing Carol of the Bells; in fact, Colin McNutt just completed the battery arrangements.  As a matter of fact, I received an email from Colin this morning at 5 a.m. saying ‘Part 2 is done.’ We all enjoy the last second creativity.”

“This weekend there is a longer staff meeting on tap as Bruno Zuccala and Greg Lagola will be in," Hopkins added. "I will be sitting down with these folks and Jeff Sacktig to set forth a bit of a story board. Lots to do!"

As for the details of January Camp, for those of you interested in all of the nitty-gritty… enjoy!
