Fun facts after two weeks

After the first two weeks of registrations for the 2012 USBands Fall Marching Band season, we thought this would be a good time to check in and share the 2012 Fall By the Numbers fun facts:fall flag

  • Over 160 bands from 11 states have registered, with over half of that number from the great state of New Jersey
  • The most popular event is the Yamaha Cup scheduled for MetLife Stadium in E. Rutherford, N.J. on Oct. 13 with 51 bands registered.
  • 91 bands have already registered for the USBands National Championships, with only a little more than that same number of slots still remaining.
  • As per usual, two of the most popular locally hosted events are the Piscataway High School (N.J.) with 17 bands registered and South Brunswick High School (N.J.) with 16 bands signed up for the Sept. 29 and Oct. 6 events, respectively.

Wake Forest University Event Announced for Oct. 13

USBands is proud to welcome back Wake Forest University as a host for the 2012 Fall Marching Band Season for an event to be held on Saturday, Oct. 13.

Band Relations Director Rich Hammond said in announcing the date, “We are so excited to be returning in 2012 to this great venue and the wonderful hospitality shown to us by the Wake Forest team. We look forward to an even more exciting event this year, with more bands having a great experience in this fabulous facility.”
