Cadets April Camp Welcomes Guard and Full Corps

Work Continues on '12.25' and First Pages of Drill

Whether you realize it or not, summer is just about here, and by the looks of the schedule and the intensity with which the members, staff and volunteers are approaching this weekend's final Cadets winter camp, Spring Training and tour cannot be too far around the corner.

12.25_logo_cadets_2012.pngWoodstown High School, in Woodstown, NJ, which has been known to this point as 'North Pole South' will host its final visit by the Cadets this weekend, with the colorguard of both The Cadets and Cadets2 joining in the excitement for a full weekend of work. The crack team of ELVES who are working on the new equipment trailer will also be hard at work with hammers, drills and screwdrivers in hand to put the finishing touches on the trailer which will roll into Johnstown for Spring Training in just two weeks.

On tap will be hours of rehearsal over Friday, Saturday and Sunday, before the camp comes to a close with a LIVE broadcast beginning Sunday at 1P|12C of some very special moments, including the announcement of the Class of 2012 of the Cadets Hall of Fame, presentation of the Susan Erben Memorial Scholarship Award recipients and a few minutes of the '12.25' program to give fans and alumni a taste of what's to come this summer. If you're in the Philly/South Jersey area, stop on by any time and check out what the Cadets are up to. All are welcome!

Operation: ELF is still looking for members to join the ELF Force to lend a hand through Spring Training and Tour. If you're able to volunteer a few days to help the World Champs get down the road, contact Melissa Barlow at melissa@yea.org or at 610.821.0345 ext 115.

For those who love the details, here's all you need to know and more for this weekend's final Winter Camp.
