The Susan Erben Cadets Scholarship Fund was started in 2010 in honor of Susan Erben, a Cadets  alumna and long-time administrator and development director. The funds for the scholarship are created by donations from friends, fans and alumni and now is helped with a portion of the proceeds from the annual Food and Wine Fest held every spring.

The 2012 Food and Wine Fest will be held at Taos Restaurant in Rutherford, N.J. on Sunday, May 20. Tickets are available here.

Corps Director George Hopkins said, “We are proud to offer these scholarships to Cadets members in the name of Susan Erben. Susan, as the director of development for YEA!, always believed that there should be an avenue to financially assist deserving Cadets. Through this fund, and with the assistance of supporters of the Cadets, we are perhaps not solving all challenges, but it is a step in the right direction!”

Congratulations to the 2012 Cadets who are recipients of the Susan Erben Scholarships:

Morganne McCartney
Cole Edwards
Kristopher Davis
Isaac Girard
Sean Coffey
Jesse Garcia
Mallory Yohannan
Jonathan Aguire
