Cadets2 Ready for Another Busy Weekend

Learning Music and Visual to 'Launch' in a Few Short Weeks

Less than three weeks away from their very first public performance at the YEAllentown! Concert on June 7, the staff and members are digging in to the dot books a little deeper this weekend to work on the next chunk of music and visual of the 2012 “Launch” program.cadets2 at spring training 2012

Last weekend’s camp was a success to many, as the corps put "To Tame the Perilous Skies" on the field for the very first time, marching and playing at a level that surprised staff and members alike.

“With our preparation schedule being a little longer than most of us are used to, we are right on track with where we want to be seven weeks from our first show,” said Rich Hammond, director of Cadets2.

The corps is still looking to fill the final few slots in the baritone and colorguard sections. Cadets2 gives those young people who just might now be thinking they missed an opportunity to march, a chance to jump on board and have a remarkable summer with a great group of instructors and members. Interested in marching, contact Melissa Barlow at or at 610-821-0345 ext. 115.

This weekend marks the final Saturday-Sunday weekend of the year. The three-day Friday-Saturday-Sunday schedule begins with the Memorial Day weekend and will continue right up to the world championships on Labor Day.
