Maybe you are still developing your appreciation for the finest wines, but delicious food is your true passion.   All the more reason to attend the Youth Education in the Arts Food and Wine Fest tomorrow, Sunday, May 20 in East Rutherford, N.J.

Taos Restaurant and Wok is renowned in the area by connoisseurs of fine dining in an area populated by some of the finest restaurants and chefs in the nation. Taos has created a sampling menu to compliment the selection of Sunday’s wines which will consist of many of the following:

Mini Beef Wellingtons, Filet Mignon on Croutons, Spicy Beef Tips, General Taos Chicken, Blackened Chicken Skewers, Shanghai Wings, Stuffed Mushrooms, Vegetable Spring Rolls, Assorted Sushi Rolls, Swordfish Dumplings, Scallops Wrapped in Bacon, Crab Rolls, Seared Tuna, Shrimp Cocktail, Filet Mignon with horseradish dressing, Penne Vodka, Tomato and Mozzarella Salad, Stuffed Chicken Breast, Pasta Salad, Green Salad, Crudités, Assorted Cheese Display.

Including mussels, oysters, shrimp, crab claws, seared tuna, clams, and whole salmon.

[object Object]Returning to Taos Restaurant for a fourth year, the Food and Wine Fest brings nearly 150 varieties of wine and an amazing menu together for a wonderful afternoon of indulgence and good friends!

The afternoon will also include a Silent Auction of beautiful gifts and baskets! Gift certificates to renowned local restaurants paired with bottles of select wine and novelties. Plus some really cool sports and other memorabilia!

Join us and meet Cadets Hall of Fame 2012 Inductees and current creative team members Gino Cipriani and Greg Lagola. You’ll have a chance to hear from both of them and Corps Director George Hopkins on the latest happenings on the 2012 Cadets straight from the corps’ preparations.

Much of the proceeds go to support the programs of Youth Education in the Arts, but this year, we are setting aside half of the money raised to help individual Cadets with their tuition.  This will help to ensure that all deserving Cadets will be able to participate in this amazing activity.

Join us at Taos Wok & Restaurant in East Rutherford, N.J., from 1 – 5 p.m. Taos is located at 356 Paterson Ave., East Rutherford, N.J.

Advance tickets are no longer available, but we invite walk-ups to join us beginning at 1PM on Sunday!
