One Night, One Stage, 250 Cadets

Historical evening of unforgettable entertainment at the ready

[object Object]For over 78 years, The Cadets have been limited in numbers by the rules of the governing bodies of the drum and bugle corps activity.

Well, that’s about to change in one night.

This Thursday, June 7, for the first time ever, 250 maroon and cream-clad Cadets will take to the stage over the course of the evening for the YEAllentown! Concert at Allentown’s historic Symphony Hall.

Reserve your seats now to witness this memorable event when Cadets2, in its very first public performance ever, joins with The Cadets for an amazing evening of entertainment and excitement as both corps take the wraps off their 2012 programs.

Cadets2 will be performing its inaugural season production of "Launch" featuring The Cadets' classic "To Tame the Perilous Skies" along with the arrangements which will comprise the competitive program for 2012.

Meanwhile, fresh from a month-long spring training stint in Johnstown, Pa., the 10-time and current defending World Champion Cadets will perform the holiday-inspired 2012 program titled "12.25."

Be there to support the members of these two corps who have been rehearsing throughout the winter and spring for this first public performance of the summer. For months, both corps have spent hour after hour rehearsing in classrooms, cafeterias, gymnasiums and practice fields. Finally, it is time to put on the uniform for the first time and play for their family, friends and fans. Now it’s your turn to be there to cheer them on and give them a send-off for the summer that is worthy of these two remarkable ensembles.

Joining with The Cadets and Cadets2 will be YEA’s Urban Arts Center programs including Xcape Hip-Hop Dance Company and the Kids Beats Community Hand Drumming in a showcase of the work YEA! is doing in the Allentown and Greater Lehigh Valley area. Proceeds from the YEAllentown! benefit concert go toward supporting the programs of YEA!

Tickets for the YEAllentown! benefit concert are $20, $10 for students with a valid ID and children 6 and under are free. Reserve your tickets now for a historical evening of unforgettable entertainment!
