The Cadets are seeking nominations of alumni who served their country

Each and every American is thankful for those who serve our country through service to the military. In 2010 The Cadets announced the opening of The Cadets Hall of Honored Veterans, bringing recognition to those who wore a uniform in one of our esteemed military services, and also wore the Cadets’ legendary Maroon and Gold.

The Cadets are seeking nominees for the class of 2012.

Inductees will be honored at the four Cadets-sponsored drum corps shows this summer:
06-29-10 Drum Corps - An American Tradition
July 7 — Jackson, NJ
July 8 — Chambersburg, PA
August 1 — West Chester, PA
August 5 — East Rutherford, NJ

"We are thrilled to bring recognition to those special Cadets that have made a difference in the world," said George Hopkins, director of The Cadets and CEO of Youth Education in the Arts. "Military service is clearly a huge challenge and commitment and it’s important to bring attention not just to our yearly recipients, but to all who have offered support to our country!"

Alumni and friends of The Cadets are encouraged to submit letters of nomination for this prestigious honor. Letters need to include the following:

  • Name of Nominee
  • Address
  • Phone
  • Email address
  • Years in The Cadets
  • Military Record
  • A story or memory related to the nominee’s military service that would support and expand upon your nomination.

And finally, as the nominator, please include your name and contact information.

Nominations must be received in the Youth Education in the Arts’ office by midnight on July 1. They can be emailed to Brad@YEA.org or mailed to:
