2 Days Until Tour of Champions at MetLife

Grand Finale at MetLife Stadium, E. Rutherford, NJ THIS Sunday, Aug. 5 at 7 PM.

It's been a long summer and with two days of spit competition between the top eight corps in the world in Allentown on Friday and Saturday, on Sunday all eight come together for one final showdown, the "Outdoor Drum Corps Championships," before moving on to Indianapolis for the World Championships next weekend.

The competition is as intense as the varieties between these ensembles this year. With productions as diverse as an exploration of the Dada Movement by the Blue Devils, Fanfare for the Common Man by Carolina Crown, the operatic passion of Turandot by Phantom Regiment, the Planets by Santa Clara Vanguard, get "Unmasqued" by Bluecoats, live "15 Minutes of Fame' with The Cavaliers and salute the Roman "Titans" with Boston Crusaders.

And of course the defending World Champion Cadets bring their holiday-themed "12.25" program, while the show gets started with a special pre-show performance by Cadets2, the all-new weekend-only, regionally based Cadets program appearing in the very first season.

Tour of Champions Event

Of course, the Tour of Champions comes with its own very special approach to drum corps which begins with small ensemble performances throughout the Marketplace area and inside the stadium.

After the Cadets performance, stay in your seats for an amazing 700-member brass ensemble with 250 flags swirling in a kaleidoscope of amazing music, power and pageantry!
