DCA World Championships Just One Week Away for Cadets2

Stay with Cadets2 and Enjoy a Labor Day of Drum Corps Action

image2.php.jpgIt’s been a long summer filled with Christmas carols, thunderstorms and a brand new corps on the field.

If you’re a friend or fan of The Cadets and YEA! organization this has been a wild and wonderful summer and we invite you to be part of the action as we say goodbye to the summer of 2012 in true drum corps style with Cadets2 at the DCA World Championships in Annapolis, Md.

There are still a few remaining rooms for those fans who want to be part of the action when Cadets2 take to the Navy & Marine Corps Stadium on the campus of the United States Naval Academy for two days of performances. Book your rooms with The Cadets at the Sleep Inn & Suites at the BWI Airport by clicking HERE.

Saturday features the DCA World Class Preliminaries beginning at 2 p.m. Sunday features the top corps advancing to the DCA World Class Finals which are set to begin at 5 p.m. with a special exhibition by the United States Marine Drum & Bugle Corps, followed by performances by the World Championship Finalists. Only a few tickets remain in the Cadets2 block, so you will want to order them by clicking HERE.

If you’ve never been to Annapolis or the Navy & Marine Corps Memorial Stadium, you’re in for a treat! The community has warmly embraced the marching band and drum corps activity, and YEA! has been a part of that from the beginning.

The setting is idyllic along the Eastern shore of the Chesapeake and only a few minutes from the sites of Inner Harbor Baltimore. Restaurants are plentiful and the downtown of Annapolis is chock full of great eateries and shopping.

The Cadets most recently made an appearance in 2009 in Annapolis as part of the DCI kick-off event that season. Meanwhile, in the fall, the stadium has hosted the Marine Corps Invitational and USBands National Marching Band Championships for several years in a row. Once again in 2012, USBands will return with the Marine Corps Invitational on Sat. Oct. 6 and the Class A National Championships on Sat. Nov. 10 and Sun. Nov. 11.

Put a great finishing touch on the summer by sharing it with The Cadets family in Annapolis for the Cadets2 first ever appearance at the DCA World Championships.
