Volunteering for USBands? Here's what to expect!

Free shirts, Free Food, Four-hour shifts and Fun!

In any volunteering effort, the most important thing to remember is: Many hands make light work… Which is why we need so many hands! So lend a hand and get in touch with us today if you’re ready to pencil us into your schedule!

Please feel free to contact me through email at iris@yea.org or by phone at (610) 821-0345 ex. 135. I’d love to hear from you and start filling out our volunteer rosters for these events!

Volunteering for USBands? Here’s what to expect!

In our efforts to make your volunteer experience better than ever, here’s what we can guarantee:

  • A USBands Volunteer Council T-shirt— because who doesn’t love a free shirt?! And as the weather gets colder, we will try to provide sweatshirts as well!
  • FOOD! When you’re going out of your way to help us run these events, we will make sure that there is a plan in place to get everyone fed. Full volunteers are happy volunteers, after all!
  • 4-hour shifts. We understand that not everyone has the ability to generously donate a full day of work, so we’ll try to manage each of our events with shifts. That being said, we would LOVE to have you for as much time as you are able to commit! There might even be some 8+ hour incentives along the way… stay tuned!
  • A great time! Who says volunteering can’t be fun? We’d like to create a network and family of USBands volunteers who can come together, have a ball, and still give back!

Once again, please email iris@yea.org or call the office at (610) 821-0345 ex. 135 to schedule your volunteer slot today!
