USBands Indoor Update

Final preparation for the 2013 season is underway!

With a fantastic finish to the 2012 fall marching band season, we have taken a few days of rest and are now pushing forward to the indoor season! With several intent forms already on our desks, we are getting close to assembling a final schedule but still have a few hosting slots available, mainly early in the season.

Once our Championship information is solidified we will announce the rest of the schedule accordingly. 

Schedule Outline:

February 2 or 9- Preview and Clinic Weekend 

                Sites Needed for NJ and CT areas

February 9 or 16- Regular Season beings

April 6 or 20 – USBands Indoor Championships, location TBA

 

 

Am I ready to host an indoor show with USBands?

Indoor show flow can be tricky, and we want to ensure the best possible experience for all units involved. These questions can help you determine whether your school would be an adequate host for a USBands indoor show. If you are still unsure, let us know, we love to visit schools!

Is the gym ceiling high enough?

Are the bleachers high enough?

What is available for warm up areas?

Where would spectators eat?

Where would units refold their floor mats? Inside or outside?

Do you have enough parent/ volunteer support?

Are there enough groups in the area who would attend to make this a successful fundraiser for your program?

 

We are always looking to make our programs grow, and have already added several new hosts onto the schedule! The full schedule along with fees associated with indoor will be released shortly.
