USBands 2013 Fall Update: March Edition

Exciting events listed for each participating state and region

25th anniversary
As we celebrate Music in Our Schools Month, we know many of you are knee-deep in the excitement of concert and jazz band performances – not to mention spring trips. However, we didn’t want you to think that the team here at USBands isn’t just as hard at work preparing for a spectacular USBands 25th Anniversary Season Presented by Yamaha.

“The plan is for the full 2013 USBands schedule to be announced and ready for registration later this month in March," George Hopkins, CEO of YEA! and founder of USBands, said. "We are currently finalizing dates and details with some of the facilities that will house our largest events. We assure you that there will be a great deal of excitement with some of the new sites and events we are adding to the schedule.”

As we’ve been putting the 120+ event schedule together, we’ve heard from many band directors and boosters regarding the business side of things. We will send all contracts and billings by March 22 so that all show hosts are prepared for a successful 2013 fall.

USBands directors will also benefit from a great new promotion on pre-owned Yamaha Instruments when they register for the 2013 season. By simply registering your band for shows this fall, you’ll be entitled to discounts on our entire inventory of lightly-used, high-quality brass and percussion instruments. Watch for details in your mailbox coming shortly, or contact sarah@yea.org immediately for your Yamaha needs.
