group flags up.jpgFor several years, Youth Education in the Arts and USBands have been working with Vivace Productions to produce the Drum Corps: An American Tradition event in West Chester, PA and the USBands Pennsylvania State Championship, but did you know that Vivace is also home to the country’s longest running summer marching band camps and leadership workshops?

Each summer for over 40 years, Vivace has partnered with top collegiate instructors who take time to work with high school students, improving their skills and helping them reach the next level of excellence. Last year, nearly 800 students from 13 states and all levels of ability attended the camps, and the Vivace team is currently preparing for another great summer!

Summer 2013 will offer Marching, Front Ensemble Percussion, Colorguard, Twirlers, Brass and Woodwind, and Drum Major workshops taught by professors and instructors from the band programs at Kutztown University, the University of Delaware, the University of Massachusetts and West Chester University.

The workshops will be available twice, on July 7-10 at Kutztown University and July 22-25 at West Chester University.

For more information about how to get your son or daughter involved this summer, please visit www.vivaceproductions.com, or contact Courtney at info@vivaceproductions.com or 610-431-3311.

All students who attend the Vivace workshops will receive a complimentary ticket to the Drum Corps: An American Tradition show on July 31 at West Chester featuring The Cadets, Carolina Crown, The Cavaliers, the Madison Scouts, the Crossmen and Jersey Surf!
