As the summer approaches, The Cadets are happy to announce that Scott Way, currently of the Indianapolis suburbs, has come on board as the corps' summer merchandise manager.

"This search has worked out very, very well. Scott has some excellent management experience, and he is going to be phenomenal," said George Hopkins, director of The Cadets.

According to Scott, "Doing a summer with The Cadets has always been a bucket-list item for me, and with my current work situation, vacation time and the launching of a new consultancy for a friend and myself in September, being on the road this summer became very doable. I am thrilled to be able to contribute."

The Cadets have found one sales assistant to support the merchandise effort this summer, and we're looking for one more.

While we can't offer a great deal of money, assistance will receive food, housing and transportation for the summer.

Are you willing to talk Cadets?
Are you great with people?
Would you love a summer of drum corps?
Are you over 21?

If so, apply today by sending a letter of interest, a resume and a few references to George Hopkins at hopkins@yea.org.
