Team USBands 2013

Meet the team behind the 25th Anniversary Season

Over the course of the summer, USBands has undergone a few changes in staffing and our roles. Long-time YEA! staff member Bill Speakman, who was filling the role of Director of USBands for the spring and summer, will be retiring in September. We wish Bill a fond farewell and all the best in his retirement. His service to this organization and the marching arts has been tremendous over the years.

Here is a look at our 2013 team:

Former assistant director and tour manager of The Cadets Drum & Bugle Corps, Justin Heimbecker, returns to Youth Education in the Arts with a new role. We are very excited that Justin will be overseeing Team USBands for the 25th Anniversary Season and beyond. As the manager of our team, he will help with event staffing, handle contracts and stadium agreements, and oversee all operations and relations. He is the Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) of the Avengers, if you will.
